Thick clouds over Tolbachik, but thermal activity still evident in satellite data, Dec 3, 2012

Examining the satellite data, it shows some thick weather clouds passing over the Tolbachik region. Even still, the thermal signal from the volcanic activity can be seen in the Mid infrared satellite data. Due to the cloud cover, recorded MIR temperatures will be lower.
