Tolbachik, Shiveluch and Kizimen Volcanoes show overnight thermal signals, May 1, 2013


AVHRR MIR data from 17:31 UTC on May 1, 2013. Note for Tolbachik that the MIR channel is saturated.


MIR data with 'orange' determined hotspot pixels.


Note in the 40 x 40 region the MIR is saturated and the TIR is elevated to 51 C for the 1 km2.
