Pavlof Volcano, Plume, June 6 - 7, 2013

Late last night (June 6, 2013) local time and early this morning (June 7, 2013) local time, weather was clear enough to see plume from Pavlof Volcano.

Viewing the 04:58 Alaska time image, and some analysis of the plume (assuming plume was in the plane of the camera), looks around 15,000 ft or 4.5 km ASL.

Thanks to FAA for access to this camera. http://akweathercams.faa.gov/

See AVO for information on the volcano. http://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/Pavlof.php
