Pavlof signals first seen 23:24 UTC, May 30 2014.

After further analysis, I have examined the satellite data collected and found that the signals have been measured in the data since 23:24 UTC May 30, 2014. MIR sees signals at 48 C for 1 km pixel.


Local region MIR, see white hot thermal target over Pavlof volcano.


40 by 40 region, MIR max is 48 C for the pixel. 

Instantaneous effusive rate = 9.3 m3/s
5 Day time averaged discharge rate = 3.3 m3/s (2 observations)
