Stromboli activity from May 25, 2014 at 23:51 UTC, seen from multiple cameras

Here is an event from Stromboli volcano. This was seen on 5 separate cameras. Four of these cameras update every 3 minutes and so these captures were very fortunate to detect the eruptive event. Another camera, is able to update every 4 seconds and you can see from this animation that the event itself was from 23:50:56 UTC, 4 seconds before the images at 23:51 UTC. So again, a minute either side or even 30 seconds either side and the other four would have missed it.

Video footage with the FLIR camera every 4 seconds animated. The other four cameras are included as still images.
