Shishaldin Volcano, thermal signal, July 9, 2014 15:18 UTC

At 07:18 local time, 15:18 UTC, a strong thermal signal was detected by V-ADAPT, Inc (www.vadapt.net) from Shishaldin Volcano. This was from satellite viewing angle of 31o off vertical. Given the topography of the summit crater of Shishaldin, then this is a significant signal at the satellite viewing angle.
