Nighttime high resolution imagery of the Holuhraun fissure, near Bardarbunga, Sept 11 2014, 20:52 UTC

To all, I've been on travel for past 5 days. Here is the most recent view of the Holuhraun fissure as seen in the NASA ALI data. This is local night time, 20:52 UTC. Below is a RGB of the ALI channels 9, 7 and 5 displayed in Google Earth, along with a transparent image to highlight the most thermally active portion.

The overpass does miss the most NE portion of the flow, hence the abrupt end to the flow.

Thanks to USGS Earth Explorer for access to this data http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/
