ASTER view of Kamchatkan volcanoes, February 20, 2015

Here is the view of the Kamchatka Peninsula and its volcanoes as seen in ASTER data from the Urgent Response Protocol (URP) acquisition. Note the differences in the TIR and VNIR at Kluichevskoi volcano, relating to the ash on the snows versus the airborne material. Thanks to NASA URP for access to this data, see https://astereds.cr.usgs.gov/eds_archive.php
