Kizimen volcano continues to steam, September 30, 2012
Last 24 hours of webcam imagery as animation to show Kizimen Volcano is still steaming. The altitude of the plume and amount of steaming could be related to intensity of the activity as well as changing atmosphere conditions. For example, strong cross winds would lower altitude of the steaming such that the plume would be advected with the wind direction rather than rising up above the vent.
