Ash signal at Shiveluch volcano, seems wind blown from surface....

Looks like some wind blown ash is being detected to the south-east of Shiveluch volcano. Webcam is clear and shows some ash being blown. The satellite data shows a weak BTD signal away to the south-east.



Local wind profiles from numerical weather prediction model show level winds at nearly 25 - 30 m/s or 100 km/hr or 50 - 60 knots.
