Continued thermal signals from Tolbachik, December 7, 2012

Continued thermal signals seen in the Mid and thermal infrared from the active lava flows from Tolbachik.


Mid infrared - 15:08 UTC, also Shiveluch is thermally active.


Thermal infrared at 15:08 UTC, still saturated.


40 by 40 region 

Tolbachik volcano, 15:08 UTC December 7, 2012
MIR =   65.48 C
TIR background =   -17.79 C
MIR elevated above background =  84.28 C
Time averaged effusion rate =   30.1 m3/s (16 obs)



Note the TIR data shows saturated pixels on the eastern portion of the MIR data.
