AVHRR data from 13:48 UTC showing ash cloud drifting to the ESE away from the volcano. This is now around 40 - 50 km from the volcano and elongated SE-NW.
AVHRR data from 15:17 UTC, large map now. Ash cloud continue to drift to the SE, now around 100 km from the volcano.
MIR AVHRR data from 13:48 UTC. Elevated thermal signals seen at the volcano from the activity.
MIR AVHRR data from 15:17 UTC. Brightness temperature around 50 C for 1km2 pixel.
