LANDSAT view of Kluichevskoi eruption, October 20, 2013


RGB of channels 4, 3 and 2. Shows the plume extending off to the east.

RGB of channels 7, 6 and 5. Emphasizes the thermal signals seen at the summit



Zoomed on in at the summit. Shows evidence of the plume going to the east and also two flows. One to the North has a stronger signal than the one to the west. At the front of the one to the west, there is some interesting interactions with the snow, see below.
